Fix text overflow and layout warnings

Find what is blocking export and adjust the affected slide without losing its meaning.

Open the affected slide and read the warning below the preview. Some warnings ask for a closer review; issues such as text overflow, low contrast, and unsupported numbers can block export. Read the whole slide before changing it.

When text does not fit

Shorten a long title, remove repeated wording, split an idea across slides, or try a layout with more text space. Check again at a readable size. Export rejects text outside its allowed area rather than cropping the words.

When text is hard to read

In Style, adjust the text and background colors. Check any image behind the text as well. Light and dark workspace modes do not change the colors of the slide itself.

When a number or source needs review

Open Sources and select the original passage that supports the slide. For a flagged number, check its digits, unit, date, and context. If the source does not support it, correct or remove the statement. Linking a paragraph alone does not verify its meaning.

Save, review, and export again

Wait for All changes saved, then return to Export. Review the updated checks and create the file when blocking issues are resolved. Open the download to check that the changes read correctly.

What if the text still looks crowded after a warning clears?

Check the slide at a realistic phone size. A successful layout check does not judge how comfortably someone can read it. Remove repeated setup, give a second idea its own slide, or try a layout with more text space. Keep any unit or qualification that changes the meaning beside its claim.
