Export and download a carousel

Create a PDF or PNG ZIP from a saved version, follow its status, and download it again later.

Choose PDF or PNG ZIP

Choose PDF for all slides in one document or PNG images (ZIP) for one image per slide. PNGs are 1080 × 1080 pixels for square slides and 1080 × 1350 pixels for portrait. Unzip the download before using the individual images.

Save before exporting

Wait for All changes saved, then open Export and review any warnings. The export uses a snapshot of that saved version. Later edits do not change the file; exporting the edited version uses a new export allowance.

Check progress in Export history

Choose Create export. You can leave while it runs and check Export history later. Queued means it is waiting; Creating files means it is running. Download the file when the task shows Completed.

Retry, download again, or recreate

A confirmed failed export returns its reserved allowance. Retry export reserves one again and uses it on success. Downloading the same successful export again uses no additional allowance. Files expire after 7 days; recreating that export is also free of an additional export allowance while its project, saved version, and referenced images remain available.

Review before sharing

You must be signed in to the account that owns an export to download it. Downloaded files are yours to share, so review any private source details and image permissions before uploading them elsewhere.

Which file do I upload to LinkedIn or Instagram?

Use the PDF for a LinkedIn document post. For an Instagram image carousel, extract the PNG ZIP and upload the individual PNGs in order. Square PNGs are 1080 × 1080 pixels; portrait PNGs are 1080 × 1350. Confirm the destination’s current upload requirements and review the crop before publishing; CarouselDraft does not publish to social accounts.
