Build a consistent carousel style with a small brand kit
Choose colors, type, and a logo treatment you can reuse without redesigning every carousel.

A small brand kit reduces the number of design decisions you make on each project. Start with a background, text color, accent, font choice, and optional logo. Test them on a real slide before saving a preset.
Start with a readable color combination
Use a slide with a long heading and body text to test your palette. A color that works on a large button may be difficult to read in small type. Check the exported artwork as well as the editor, especially where an image sits behind the words.
Pick a type style that suits the material
Try the available sans-serif and serif choices with your actual content. Include a long name or a technical term in the test. Those words often reveal line-break problems that short sample headings hide.
Keep the logo legible and unobtrusive
Use a PNG, JPEG, or WebP logo with enough clear space around it. Check it on the intended background and at the size it appears on the slide. If a detailed mark becomes unreadable, use a simpler version you have permission to use.
Use a small set of layouts deliberately
Let the slide’s job guide the layout. A cover, short list, and explanation may need different arrangements, but similar pages can repeat one layout. CarouselDraft has six options; using all six in every project is not a requirement.
Reuse settings without overwriting finished work
Save your colors, font choice, and logo in Brand for new projects. Existing projects keep their saved settings. After changing a project’s palette or type, review the whole sequence before creating another export.
Review the set in both light and dark surroundings
Light and dark workspace modes affect the interface around your design. They do not recolor the exported slides. Open the PDF or PNGs to check the first page, the longest page, and the ending against the rest of the set.
A small brand-kit test before you reuse it
- Test the longest title and a short title with the same font choice.
- Check body text on the background and over any image.
- View the logo at its actual slide size.
- Compare a cover, a middle slide, and the ending.
- Export the chosen ratio and read the PNGs or PDF pages.
Use the same meaning for an accent across the sequence: for example, highlight the next action rather than unrelated words. If an image makes the text difficult to read, change the crop, image, or layout instead of assuming the palette alone will fix it.
Brand settings and slide layouts have different jobs
Brand settings hold reusable colors, a font choice, and a logo. A layout controls how a particular slide arranges its content. You can keep the same brand while using Minimal for a cover and Editorial for an explanation. After accepting an AI outline, review each slide with the saved project settings before exporting.
